8 REASONS WHY CHRISTIANS SHOULD VOTE FOR

NC MARRIAGE AMENDMENT

1. God, our Creator, defines marriage as one man and one woman.

Genesis 2

18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

2. Human population replenishes itself exclusively by male and female procreation.

3. 2 mommies don’t make a daddy. 2 daddies don’t make a mommy. Research validates major deficiencies within a child who is reared by a single gender couple.

4. The United States of America is not Europe.

5. To answer the question: “What do you want the America of future generations to look like?”

6. A society who does not define marriage results in people who create their own definition of marriage. Ex: man marries dog, man marries daughter, man marries kitchen appliance, or man marries a tree. Healthy marriage must be defined based on a Creator-God’s original blueprint design (male & female).

7. To correctly balance out 2 lies about homosexuality. The number one lie is that a homosexual is born this way. Homosexuality is a learned behavior, natural to unnatural (Romans 1:23-28). A second lie is “once a homosexual always a homosexual”. God’s love in salvation transforms an individual from the inside-out.

8. North Carolina Marriage Amendment DOES NOT leave children of unwed parents, nor unwed couples unprotected, as liberal activist attorneys claim that it will.

You are Vitally Important!

In some of our past elections, the results could have been vastly different if more people had chosen to cast their votes. The Marriage Amendment primary vote is one of the most—if not the most—important vote in our state's history. This vote will have far-reaching effects touching future generations. This vote will also have immediate ramifications. Legislators, judges, and the populace of this nation will look toward North Carolina in determining future movements either for or against marriage. North Carolina has been given the opportunity to express what the people—not the legislative or judiciary—believe about marriage.

The weight of this vote is astounding! The opposition is spending time and money to change the history and meaning of Biblical marriage in our state. Their terminology is deceiving as they cloak good words in deceitful disguise. They are stating that a vote against the Marriage Amendment is a vote for all the families of North Carolina. Nothing could be farther from the truth! In the latest polls, the majority of the families in North Carolina will vote for the Marriage Amendment because they realize the oncoming generations will only be profited if Biblical, traditional marriage succeeds.

Vote FOR the Marriage Amendment

Many are intentionally stating falsehoods hoping to sway people away from voting correctly for the Marriage Amendment. Remember, you are to vote "FOR" the Marriage Amendment. When you cast your vote "FOR" the Marriage Amendment, you are voting for Biblical, traditional marriage. If you vote against the Marriage Amendment, you are placing your stamp of approval upon perverted homosexual marriage. Please inform each voting member of both your family and church family of the importance of voting "FOR" the Marriage Amendment.
