Dear Pastor and Church Member, JULY/AUGUST 2014
Brother Jimmie, “Hope you and girls are doing well. Read your letter and see you have a need for repairs due to the storm. Wanted to help so please use this to help with the repairs. Praying for Farmer Christian Academy and the work God is doing there.” F. K. M.
From a student enrolled in the Academy, “Brother Jimmie, and thank you for never giving up even though things in the ministry may get hard. Thank you for having a heart and burden for teenage girls. This place (Farmer Christian Academy) has been more than a place that I had to go to. It has been a refuge of help and love. There are many things I do not know about what you all have to sacrifice for us, but I am so appreciative of the things I have seen. Even though I have made some mistakes you have been there to help me through the dark times of my life.” Thank You G. G.
Dear Karla and Jimmie, “I cannot remember if I told you how wonderful we feel about you creating the ‘Day to Remember’ event. Thank you so much for sending us the program. We are privileged to have seen and the wonderful ‘A Day to Remember’ print by Dempsey Essick. I wish we could meet him someday. The print is amazing. There is truth of God’s word on the world today, and yet the world is so unaware of what is really happening. Thank you for your work, your faith and the light you are showing into the darkness,” T. & R. M.
PLEASE PRAY FOR THE FOLLOWING MEETINGS:
JULY 4TH, PASTOR DALE PHILLIPS, GRACE B. C., HONEA PATH, S.C. (ANNUAL PICNIC)
Our children and grandchildren are all busy with sports, activities, VBS, camps, etc. Karla is busy with childcare for Luke, 11; Braeden, 6; Elise, 10, and Caleb 5
Troy, our son, is having a book signing at Gullion’s Christian Book Store in Winston-Salem. Our daughter, Kerry and her husband, David, are in the process of adopting a girl from the Philippines, which is where I was stationed for 18 months during the Viet Nam War. Please help us pray for God’s will.
Todd, our son, and wife Andrea who live in Advance, NC, are involved in the counseling ministry.
God Bless You All,
Jimmie M. Clark
Faith Examples at Farmer Christian Academy:
We had around 10 church groups bring #10 cans of fruits and vegetables. I just ate vegetable soup Mrs. Deborah made. Thank you much!
The dorm/kitchen roof that was blown off the first of the year is nearing completion. I still need to raise around $3500.00 materials. Please pray about that need. 7-15-2014NEED WAS GIVING and given to the supply company. PRAISE THE LORD!
It is time for my yearly order of supplies for my mission letter. I will need letterhead stationery, #10 standard mailing letter envelopes and donational thank you envelopes. That is a total of 30,000 each and grand total of 90,000 pieces printed. These all are in color and great art work. I like to do our best for the Lord. Here are the break downs:
Letterhead: 30,000 Pieces--$1,185 ($0.035 apiece)
Standard Envelope: 30,000 Pieces—$1,680 ($0.55 apiece)
Thank You Envelopes: 30,000 Pieces--$1,590 ($0.053 apiece)
Lastly, I am praying about hiring two more staff ladies. Please help me pray for Lori and Lesia that the will of God be done as He reveals His will to us.
